Residential Visits

During February, both Year 3 and Year 5 were lucky to have taken part in residential visits.

Year 3 spent 3 days out of school, starting their adventure with an exciting visit to the catalyst museum where they took part in a workshop on rocks and fossils, tying in perfectly with what they have been studying in class. From The Catalyst they continued on to Crosby Hall which is a venue St Michael's have visited for more than 20 years. It is an ideal first experience of a residential visit for Year 3 as  St Michael's have exclusive use of the wonderful facilities during their time there and it is not too far from home!

An amazing time was had by both children and staff and I'm sure

Year 3 came away exhausted but with lots of wonderful memories.

Year 5 spent 3 days at The PGL Activity centre in Boreatton Park in Shropshire. Again this is a destination that St Michael's has used for many years and has always proved very popular. Boreatton Park has amazing staff who are highly trained and is in  a beautiful setting.  During their time there, the children took part in an array of  activities including:: raft building, archery, giant swing, challenge course, zip wire and in the evening a campfire. The feedback from Year 5 children and staff was fantastic and I am sure this is a trip that we will continue to offer year on year.
