Year 2 Miss Mc Elhinney

Welcome to Year 2!

Welcome to Year 2. My name is Miss Mc Elhinney and I am currently the Year 2 teacher at St. Michael’s Catholic Primary School. This is my 7th year teaching at this school. I have responsibilities for teaching and learning of History across the whole school. I am also currently working within the school to raise standards in children's reading and to develop the love of reading.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your child to Year 2. I hope your child will enjoy their time in year 2 and will build on the skills and knowledge they have learnt in Year 1. My aim as a teacher is for your child to make good progress and enjoy their time in Year 2. We hope to have a fantastic year ahead, full of creative and enjoyable learning.
