Year 4 Mrs Pendleton

Hello, my name is Mrs Pendleton and I would like to welcome you to the Year 4P class page and the start of a new school year. I am really happy to welcome the children back after teaching them for a short period of time prior to the summer holidays and it has been a pleasure to see their enthusiasm as they embark on their Year 4 journey of learning. They have started the term really well and have settled into work quickly and sensibly and I am really looking forward to seeing each and every one of them grow and flourish as the year progresses.

Year 4 is a very exciting year with many eventful activities and celebrations to look forward to. There will be lots of interesting and exciting learning as we explore the curriculum and hopefully we will have some opportunities to share our fabulous work with you. As well as exciting lessons and our upcoming residential trip, Year 4 children will be making their First Holy Communion! What an amazing year we have ahead!

We are very lucky to have Mrs Jones working with us this year, supporting the children on their educational journey.

Please remember that children make better progress if teachers and parents work closely together. If you are worried about anything, do not hesitate to contact me at any point during the year.

Year 4 have had the most amazing time at Winmarleigh Hall PGL centre. We climbed, jumped, leapt, slid, sang and tumbled our way around a huge range of activities including: rafting, giant swing, buggy building, zip wire and a camp fire sing along to name but a few.

We pushed ourselves to our limits, encouraged each other and often surprised ourselves at how much we could do when we were really determined.

Year 4P looking extremely smart in their uniforms and they have already settled down to their learning.

It’s going to be a great year!
