Collective Worship

Examples of collective worship in our school

We gather together for worship in our prayer garden, outdoor classroom, in each class and together as a whole school in the hall.

Whole school assemblies and worship

We have a rejoice assembly at the end of each of our 9 Come and See topics every year. Parents, carers and our governors are invited to celebrate with us.

We gather as a whole school to celebrate our St. Michael's feast day, feast days of other special Saints, First Holy Communion and Y6 leavers. In addition we pray together during important times of our liturgical season such as Advent and Lent.

Have a look at the images below showing some of our recent celebrations and worship together as a whole school community.

Masses

We are able to attend Mass on a Thursday at 12pm, celebrated at St. Michael's Church. We regularly take our pupils to Mass to support them in developing their Catholic faith.

Our Cathedral

We are very lucky to have visited our Mother Church on two occasions recently. Firstly, Y5 and Y6 visited for a tour and to celebrate Mass with Fr. Mark and secondly, our choir visited to sing at the Good Shepherd Mass.
