Year 2 - Mr Borelan

Welcome to Year 2!

My name is Mr. Borelan and I am the delighted to be teaching in Year 2 this year. I am coming up to five years of teaching at our wonderful school and in that time I have been teaching in years 3 and 4 so I am excited about this new challenge.

At the end of the previous school year, I was fortunate to have had 4 weeks working with and getting to know some of my new class. This really helped me to prepare for this year and also helped the children to feel a little more at ease when they returned to school at the beginning of September. The children have shown great resilience and have settled back in to school life by adapting to the new routines and procedures. They really are a lovely bunch of children and it is a privilege to be their teacher this year.

There is plenty of learning to be excited about this year within our year 2 curriculum and I know the children (and me) are excited about doing Forest School again this year. This year, I will be supported by Mrs. Leadbetter and we will both be working hard to ensure that the children have the safest and most creative learning environment possible. The children will always be expected to do their best on their journey to becoming resilient and independent learners.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch as your support is always very much appreciated.
