Year 6 Mrs O'Donnell

Welcome to Year 6!

Welcome to Year Six! My name is Mrs O’Donnell and I am the current Year Six teacher. I have had the pleasure of teaching across all year groups at St Michael’s Catholic Primary School for the last 18 years and I have responsibility for the teaching and learning of Mathematics across the whole school and also for Assessment. I am also a member of the Senior Management Team.

Year Six is an important year in which the children learn many new skills and prepare for their transition into high school. It can be a hard year but also a very rewarding one. Our aim is to deliver a curriculum that is challenging but fun and to provide your children with as many positive learning experiences as possible.

Should you have any questions about teaching and learning in Year Six, please don’t hesitate in contacting me.
