2nd National Lockdown

Dear Parents,

As we begin our second half term in school, I am delighted to report that we have had a very impressive attendance record of 97% since September. This is well above the national average and a testimony to yourselves as parents/carers and to all of the staff in these challenging times. I pass on my sincere thanks to you an all of the staff.

As we now move in to a second national lockdown, I am writing to urge you to follow the national guidance. This will help to keep us all safe and also help protect our staff who have ensured your children have stayed safe and happy in school since March, which still receiving a quality education.

It is vitally important that nobody in school is put at any unnecessary risk. Hence we must all do our bit and follow the guidance below;

  • No mixing of households
  • No sleepovers or parties where children or adults are visiting other families
  • One parent/carer only to drop off and pick up
  • To maintain social distances and space between each other
  • To wear a face-covering whenever possible

As a school we have worked extremely hard to be Covid-19 Complaint, Your children in school are very well cared for and safe. The staff work extremely hard to provide an excellent education for all of the children.

I now ask you to please go that little bit further during this next lockdown. Take care of each other in your own family bubble, support what we are doing as a school and together we will get through this.

With kind Regards

When the world stayed apart

We stayed together as our St Michael’s Family
