  • Table Tennis Star

    Mon 18 Apr 2022 P Loughran

Over The Easter holiday one of our talented  Year 6 pupils -Chantelle, took part in the Primary Schools International Table Tennis Championships in Guernsey.

Representing England, Chantelle played in a combined team with players from Wales and Jersey, Chantelle played brilliantly against some outstanding players and came away with a Bronze medal in the team event.

This was a truly amazing achievement and a fantastic experience for Chantelle, competing at such a high level, flying for the first time and  staying in a hotel with children from all over the UK.

Chantelle has attended Table Tennis Club every week in school with Mr Holmes for 4 years as well as attending a local club. It goes without saying that all her hard work has definitely been rewarded.

On behalf of the entire St Michael's community we would like to congratulate Chantelle, to have accomplished this at such a  young age is  truly remarkable.
