Year 4 - Mrs Boardman

Hello! My name is Mrs Boardman and I am super excited to work with this lovely group of children once again but this time in Year 4. I am delighted to return to teaching in KS2 after several years in KS1. Having started my teaching career in Year 4, it has always been one of my favourite year groups to teach and I am thrilled to be back in the classroom once again sharing precious moments with such an enthusiastic bunch of young people.

This year in Year 4, we will be supported by Mrs Bent. We will be working hard to ensure that all of the children achieve in a safe, creative and fun learning environment. The children will be expected to always try their best in every lesson, developing their resilience and independence as they move further up in the juniors. As we progress through the year, I look forward to updating our class page with the exciting learning that is taking place.

As music coordinator, listening to live music and attending concerts has always been a great passion of mine. Throughout the year, the children will get chance to listen to a variety of genres of music, with the chance to get creative - hopefully composing some groovy pieces of their own!

Should you have any questions about teaching and learning in Year 4, or any worries or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Your support is very much appreciated as we continue on our learning journey together.
