Welcome to Year 6. I am delighted to be working in such a forward thinking and innovative school. The children in Year 6 continuously work hard and apply themselves fully to all areas of the curriculum in order to reach their full potential.
Year 6 is always a difficult year preparing for SATs. However, we strive to ensure that the children experience a broad and balanced curriculum; with many opportunities for experiential learning and having fun!
It is our job throughout the year, to help the children become more independent in preparation for high school. Should you require any advice or assistance please feel free to contact us.
Thank you for your continued support.
We were very lucky when Harry visited us to tell us about the history of St Michael's and the local area.
Investigating hearts in Science!
We had fun tasting pizza toppings in our DT lesson.
Having fun in PE, this weeks focus was developing our throwing and catching skills!
We investigated artefacts from WW1 in preparation for Remembrance Day. We used our enquiry skills to raise questions about what life was like during the war.
Thank you to Grandparents, Parents and the Royal British Legion who joined us for our Remembrance Day Collective Worship and Afternoon Tea.
