Year 3/4 have been working incredibly hard this term. In mathematics, the children have learnt a great deal about fractions including how to add and subtract fractions, how to find equivalent fractions and much more! In their English lessons, pupils have created their own persuasive leaflet about Liverpool and are now beginning to explore information texts.
The children have really enjoyed their history, geography, music and art/DT lessons which have all been centred around Liverpool and its contribution to life in Britain.
World Book Day 2019
To celebrate reading, children dressed up as a character from their favourite book! We read stories,
wrote a book review and even acted out scenes from
class reading books such as The Water Horse.
On Tuesday 12th March, we celebrated the subject with a day
dedicated to the teaching and learning of science.
This term the children have enjoyed learning about Magnets (Y4) and
Rocks (Y3) in their science lessons.
Planned and organised by Mrs Pendleton, the children enjoyed taking part in a variety of activities to celebrate Maths Day.
