Year 3/4 Mr Soulsby

            Welcome to Y3/4's Class Page!

We are now in the final term of the school year and the children in Y3/4 are continuing to work tirelessly to push the boundaries of their knowledge! In English lessons, we have studied the literary works of Anthony Browne and are soon to be writing our story. Our mathematics lessons are now centred on revising multiplication and division strategies as well as measuring time.

RE & Collective Worship

The children follow the Come & See programme during RE lessons and join together daily for collective worship, either as a class or part of a whole school worship.

                                         World Book Day 2019

To celebrate reading, children dressed up as a character from their favourite book! We read stories,

wrote a book review and even acted out scenes from

class reading books such as The Water Horse.

                                                 Science Week!

On Tuesday 12th March, we celebrated the subject with a day

dedicated to the teaching and learning of science.

This term the children have enjoyed learning about Magnets (Y4) and

Rocks (Y3) in their science lessons.

                                                  Maths Day!

Planned and organised by Mrs Pendleton, the children enjoyed taking part in a variety of activities to                                                    celebrate Maths Day.

As the weather is beginning to become warmer, we have spent time learning outside the classroom on the                                               field and playground.
