Year 6I - Mrs Ingram

Hello! I am Mrs Ingram. I am currently coming into my 14th year working at St Michael’s, and believe it is a privilege to do so! It's a lovely, welcoming school and I'm looking forward to another year of exciting experiences! Year 6 is an exciting year, as the children begin their final year of primary school. We aim to develop a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn and achieve their full potential. The children will prepare for their SATS, but will also work on becoming ‘high school ready’. This ensures that the children are not only academically ready, but also socially and emotionally ready to begin their journey at high school.

In year 6, we aim to create a classroom where a 'can-do' attitude is at the centre of everything we do. We aim to develop confident, resilient learners and work hard to develop the independence needed in high school. We aim to create a positive and encouraging environment where we support and look after one another.

We aim to create a fun, but challenging curriculum. This year we will be learning many new things. We will be starting our learning journey by learning all about our school and local area, before moving on to the wider world.

We will be working closely with Mrs Hillier’s Year 6 class and are lucky enough to have Mrs Bebbington supporting us too. Each Wednesday the children will have Miss Davies work with them.

Our PE days are Monday and Friday; the children are able to come into school in their PE kits on these days.

Should you have any questions, worries or concerns, please don’t hesitate in contacting me. Thank you for visiting our class page.

Selfie Clips

In Year 6I, we have introduced 'Selfie Clips'. These are clips we place on our work if we have tried really hard and are really proud of the work we produce. Here are some of our selfies.
