Welcome to Year 4.
My name is Mr. Connick and I am really excited to be teaching you this year. I have heard about all the incredible work you have already done before the summer which I am looking forward to experiencing.
I like to incorporate as much drama and practical experiences as I can to make our learning as fun and enjoyable as possible.
Having achieved her teaching qualification last year, Mrs Leadbetter will remain closely connected to the class and will be there to teach the children each morning. I know that she is extremely excited to continue her work with the children this year.
This year in Year 4, we will be supported by Mrs Jones. We will be working hard to ensure that all of the children achieve in a safe, creative and fun environment. The children will be expected to try their best in every lesson, developing independence and resilience. Both Mrs Leadbetter and myself will look forward to updating our class page with the exciting learning that is taking place in class.
If you have any questions about teaching and learning in Year 4, or any worries or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Leadbetter or myself. Your support is very much appreciated and plays a large part in your child's learning, we will look forward to updating you on your child's progress as we continue on our learning journey together.
Our PGL experience
Together we pushed ourselves to limits we didn't think we could achieve.
We jumped, slid, swam and laughed our way around Winmarleigh hall. The activities included: zip line, raft building, giant swing buggy building and a world challenge just to name a few.
Weve had so much fun and can't wait to continue to encourage, push and laugh throughout this year.
