Year 6 Mrs Pendleton

Good afternoon,

I would like to welcome you all to Year 6 and the beginning of another exciting school year!

It is lovely to welcome the children back after the summer holidays and, having had the privilege of teaching most of them for the past two years, it feels very special to be continuing our journey together into Year 6. I already know what a wonderful group of children they are, and it has been lovely to see them back in school, ready for another year of learning and lots of new experiences.

I would also like to welcome some new children to our class this year. Although I haven't had the opportunity to teach them before, I have enjoyed getting to know them over the years and it has been lovely to welcome them into our classroom.

Year 6 is a very special year and there is lots for the children to look forward to. We have plenty of exciting learning opportunities and experiences planned, as well as lots of opportunities for the children to develop their confidence, independence and resilience. I hope it will be a happy, exciting and memorable year for everyone.

My aim is to provide a happy, safe and challenging environment where every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to do their very best. I want them to feel proud of what they achieve, to become confident and independent learners and, most importantly, to enjoy their final year of primary school.

Please remember that children make better progress when teachers and parents work closely together. If you have any questions, worries or concerns at any point during the year, please do not hesitate to get in touch. I am always happy to talk and work together to make sure your child has a happy and successful year.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.

Mrs P
