Year 3 Mr Borelan

Dear Parents/Carers,

We hope you have all had a wonderful summer with family and friends. From the children’s stories and recollections over the past week, it sounds as though they have enjoyed some exciting adventures, fun days out and special memories over the summer holidays!

It has been lovely for us to welcome the children back to school, and we have been incredibly proud of how quickly they have settled back into school routines. They have been fantastic both in the classroom and around school, showing enthusiasm, kindness and a real readiness for the year ahead.

We are absolutely delighted to be teaching your children this year. Year 3 is an exciting year, with lots of new learning, opportunities and experiences for the children to enjoy, and we are really looking forward to sharing these with them.

There is lots to look forward to this year, and we hope the children will enjoy challenging themselves, discovering new interests and developing their independence along the way. Most importantly, we want them to feel happy, confident and excited about coming to school each day.

Our Year 3 curriculum overview will be sent home within the next few weeks. Please take some time to have a read through it, as it will give you an overview of what we will be learning throughout the year, as well as information about our reading and homework expectations.

If you have any questions, concerns or worries at any point during the year, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We really value working closely with parents and carers and are always happy to have a chat.

Thank you for your continued support. We are very much looking forward to a happy, exciting and successful year together!

Best wishes,

Mr Borelan, Mrs Leadbetter, Miss Wiggins & Miss Hambleton
