Reception Class Admission 2027

Applications are now open  online for parents/carers of children born between 01/09/2022 and 31/08/2023 wishing to  make an application for their child to start Primary School in September 2027.

The deadline for Primary 2027 applications is

15^th January 2027.

Please don’t be late as this is likely to reduce your chances of being offered a place at your three preferred schools

If you are unable to apply  online,  please email  schooladmissions@halton.gov.uk for a paper application form, or these can also be collected from any Halton Direct Link Office.

St Michael's is a Catholic School under the trusteeship of the Archdiocese of Liverpool. It is maintained by Halton Council. As a Voluntary Aided School, the Governing Body is the Admissions Authority and is responsible for taking decisions on applications for admissions. The Governing Body has set its admissions number at 30.

In Year Applications

Applications for school places in other year groups should be made directly through the school office. Restrictions apply to the number of pupils in each year group and therefore places are offered subject to availability. Should there not be a place in the year group you are seeking, you will be placed on a waiting list
