Happy New Year

As we return to school in January it is a good time to look forward to the term ahead whilst recognising the achievements of last term.

Without exception, the Christmas performances in December for all year groups, from the Foundation stage through to Year 6 were superb. This is down to the hard work and perseverance of both the staff and children, who worked tirelessly rehearsing to get it just right!! The positive comments and feedback we received from parents and visitors is testament to the efforts made by all. We would like to thank all involved as well as our parents/Carers for your suppport as always.

January has started in earnest with many extracurricular clubs restarting with more to follow in the weeks ahead. We also start our annual residential trips next week, with Year 3 attending a 3 day /2 night trip to Crosby Hall. Year 4 will attend their residential in March followed by Year 5 in May and Year 6 in June. We are delighted to be able to offer all our Key Stage 2 children the opportunity to take part in a residential which is an important part of their school experience.
